Simplifying performance management data from enterprise CRMs
OneUp Sales is a CRM-driven sales and recruitment performance management tool that allows sales managers to instantly track and report on their company's and team’s performances.
I joined the company in 2023 as their first design hire. Since then I have touched all areas of the product while simultaneously bringing in best practice design processes.
Some key highlights are building a powerful performance insights product, fully customisable dashboards, new targets experience along with a full platform redesign. All powered by a brand new design system built from the ground up whilst being completely aligned to the business needs.

Designing with data is fundamental to the product’s success, ensuring we always had comprehensive usage tracking was essential. Since joining in February 2024 we have had a 35% increase in monthly active users (from 4,000 to 5,000) and maintaining a 79% MAU to WAU ratio.
The target-setting process is key to our recruitment clients. When testing the resigned feature with clients, we found updated experience achieved a 47% increase in efficiency, which led to a 30% increase in targets created per user.
The dashboard redesign was critical as it is the highest traffic area of the platform. The new experience provided users with flexible personalisation options, reducing setup time for managers while increasing engagement.
I designing and implementing a comprehensive design system, supported by the Head of Product (HoP) and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), which allowed our engineers to build a new UI 40% faster.
The platform navigation was the first major design system component we implemented. By reducing its screen real estate 31% to 12%, we increased discoverability by 50%. This modernised the user interface and we received highly positive feedback from our clients.
During my time at OneUp I have created outcome-driven solutions that align with the company's mission and values. My dedication to enhancing experiences, delighting users and presenting data in an easy-to-consume-format has been the cornerstone of my approach.
Alongside my HoP I helped transition the company from a project-led to a product-led organisation. I implemented new best-in-class design and engineering ceremonies, such as story mapping, friction logging along with regular retros, to streamline processes and improve team collaboration.

Most recently I have led the design of a brand new reporting product, Performance Insights. While leading discovery sessions with the CEO and HoP, I engaged with high-value clients aiming to design a product to help the business reclaim clients lost to our main competitor. Through meticulous usability testing and iterative design improvements, the new reporting tool was successfully beta-tested with 18 clients and the first version is now being released though nummerous cohorts to ensure its stability.
A key highlight was the full redesign of Codat’s Account Categorisation experience. This tool, used by over 10,000 customers, allows users to categorise their accounts pulled through the accounting API. By streamlining the interface and improving usability, we achieved a significant milestone: users could categorise their accounts 3 times faster than before, as confirmed through testing completed before and after release. This improvement not only enhanced user satisfaction but also demonstrated the tangible impact of our design efforts on business outcomes.
In another key project, I reimagined Codat’s Link flow—a white-labeled product that enables clients to access their customers' financial data. Recognising the need to increase usage and build trust, I designed an embedded, slimmed-down, and mobile-friendly version of Link that could be seamlessly integrated into clients' websites. This redesign facilitated a more intuitive user experience, fostering greater adoption and trust among end-users.
Another significant part of my work involved enhancing the developer portal. I worked extensively on areas such as the Companies page, allowing clients to manage their customers efficiently, and on Monitor, where clients could track their usage across different products such as the Embedded Link experience. I also redesigned the Platform settings pages, providing clients with a seamless interface to review their integration and billing settings. These improvements empowered clients with greater control and insight into their operations, reinforcing trust and satisfaction.

I led the design on Codat’s main lending and reporting products, Assess. While at Tutorful I worked across many areas of the platform while owning a key part of the product, the Classroom. The Classroom is an interactive whiteboard experience where all online tutoring sessions take place.
A key highlight is leading the redesign of the Classroom. Optimising the interface to free up horizontal real estate and improve usability. This redesign was complemented by a comprehensive onboarding experience I designed, which effectively guided users through the Classroom's tools and functionalities.
